Free The Night is a lively and exciting walking event set in a vibrant party atmosphere. Every step you take sends a powerful message: women and girls deserve to feel safe on our streets and secure in their homes.
The event begins in the Marketplace outside Melksham Town Hall and will end at King George V Playing Fields. You are welcome to join at any point along the route.
Everyone is welcome.
Free The Night is suitable for all ages, but under‑18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Men are absolutely welcome. It’s so important to have allies in the conversation and at these events too. Free The Night is taking place on the weekend of International Women’s Day and is focused on female safety, but we are aware that this issue affects people of all genders.
