UPDATE: So many events, almost all have been cancelled. It’s going to be a time consuming task to check them individually, and I am presently working on our Virtual Festival. If you are planning on going out, please check ahead, the calendar will remain unchanged until we get the all clear. What a sad thing to have to publish here today. Take care everyone, we will see you for real very soon, until then enjoy the virtual festival, and support artists and businesses who contribute. Thank you.

Sat 25 April 2020 | 7.30pm
It seemed an ideal posting for Father Welsh. The tiny Irish town of Leenane, where nothing ever happens… Two murders later, and he’s left fearing he made a bad decision. After the funeral of the father of the Connor brothers, he wonders if there’s more to the death than meets the eye. A series of shocking and hilarious revelations result in another tragic death in Leenane, but whose? This very black comedy, brought to you by White Cobra Productions is part of the Leenane trilogy from acclaimed playwright Martin McDonagh.

The true story of Florence Foster Jenkins – The Worst Singer in the World

Mon 11 – Sat 16 May 2020 | 7.30pm
This hilarious farce is based on the life of Florence Foster Jenkins, a wealthy socialite who, while lacking any vocal ability, warbled and screeched her way through numerous charity balls, concerts and recording sessions in 1940s New York. Delusional, yet generous and joyous, ‘Madam’ Jenkins won herself thousands of devoted fans and a circle of friends almost as eccentric as she was. This play, which enjoyed a run in the West End with Maureen Lipman, takes a distinctly more farcical approach to its subject matter than the recent film which starred Meryl Streep.
