Packed with a country-rock band punch rather than his usual acoustic outcry, For Tomorrow still grips poignancy, a genius hook, and Jol’s Dylanesque excellence by the neck. Truth, these days, can be hard to come by, as Jol expresses, but injustices and propaganda aplenty. Yet Jol only suggests this might be the moment you take a stance against them; no pressure!
While you decide to attend or procrastinate as the theme takes, indulge yourself for a little under five minutes, because this song is the dog’s danglies; a passionately delivered fiery response from the passive wordsmith of old Swindon town.
