I met Flora supporting Talk in Code at their single launch at The Vic in Swindon last year. There she was in acoustic splendour, but wielding an electric guitar; I knew this was going to go off. Outside I congratulated her, she took control of my phone from my intoxicated sausage fingers, too wonky to press the right buttons, to ensure I followed her Insta, and besides the perfection of her rocking performance there, coupled with the notion I wouldn’t advise rashly lending your phone out to any rock chick on those mean streets of Swindon, Kick the Tyres confirms I did the right thing!
